As you begin creating different pages for your bullet journal, you might come to a point when you wonder what else you could do with it.
Why not use the bullet journal to plan your holidays and events? Or meal and party planning?
This is the perfect way to plan for special events in the fall, and through the winter since it keeps everything organized, and you have your calendar pages right there for reference.
Thanksgiving and Holiday Meals
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so this is a great holiday to start planning. Depending on where you live, it might not be for this holiday specifically, but there may be others around the same time.
Thanksgiving is often very chaotic with everything there is to cook, inviting guests, getting your home ready, deciding what to wear, and various other details. Of course, this year has been the exception and there may not be many guests in your home, but you can still make plans.
It is easy to organize these details in your bullet journal.
Christmas and Other Holidays
If you celebrate Christmas you may want to use your bullet journal to keep up with the gifts you would like to purchase for family and friends, what you have already purchased and where, or other things that are related to your gifts. And what about all those Christmas cards that need to be mailed out?
You may also decide to use your journal to calendar the parties or events you plan to attend or host in your home. There may be candle lighting, church services, kids’ parties, gift exchanges, Christmas caroling and so many other things that you can use your bullet journal for. Your journal can keep you organized and reduce stress during this busy time of the year.
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
This holiday is probably one of the biggest of the whole year. We are all starting with a fresh slate.
But before we get to that, let us use the journal to plan all those New Year’s activities you plan to host or attend. There are parties, watch night events and other things to get through before you start the New Year.
After the celebrating is over, it is time to get your bullet journal set up for the new year. Whoop! Whoop!

Other Event Planning
Think about other special events or holidays happening throughout the year, and do not be afraid to plan those in the bullet journal as well. Keeping everything in one place allows you to stay organized and never lose any of your notes.
There are many holidays throughout the year. I never imagined so many myself until I looked them up out of curiosity.
Check out the 2020 Holiday calendar. I found it interesting.
And just for fun, here is the 2021 Holiday calendar to get you started.
Get started planning today. It is never too late. If fall holidays have passed by, you can do what I do and I go back and write what you have already done. That way when you get to that month in the new year, you can look back to see what you did and if it is something you would like to plan again.
There are so many things that you can plan this time of year, and do not forget all the decorating too!
Happy Journaling!
